It can be dangerous to take all your vacation money with you to the Del Mar Racetrack!

It is so much fun to wander around the beautiful grounds, to make a bet with the hopes of winning the big one, it is thrilling to watch the speed of powerful horses thunder around the track, but losing that bet is more common than winning.

Honestly, the win off a $2.00 bet is not worth risking the money in the first place. However, having a bet on a horse makes watching it run even more exciting.

BTW, This photo of the track stands was taken in the morning before the marine layer (of clouds) burned off. When it does burn off, you'll have a sunshine, bright day for the races.
