Sun / Sea: Overcast Days are Dangerous Too!

Coronado is probably one of the safest cities in the world. The biggest danger is the sun and surf. Even on over cast days it is important to use sun screen, as the clouds are no protection from uv rays.
Often times there are strong rip tides and it is important that you follow the advise of the life guards whether you are a strong swimmer or not.

In American movies we see that it is cool to rebel against the rules. In real life that is not so and a blatant disregard can cause big trouble.
Also, obey the signs! Why anyone would want to go into that shallow little pond when the beach and bay are so near, I haven't a clue.
