Thanks, Skipka, for this info, the changes in Bratislava are many and I should have realized that even the streets might have different names.

At the time I originally wrote this tip, "mareg's" Bratislava page was the only one with any real inside tips. Since then many new members have made wonderful contributions. You can see all the VT Tips written about this city on the

When I visited Bratislava, it was still part of the Communist regime and though many changes have been made since then, the main point of my comments are timeless. The people are noticeably kind and helpful still.
