My view of Singapore was limited, and if you really want to learn about this city/country look at the pages of:

Actually, I was fortunate to have some experience in Singapore purely by chance. I flew Singapore Airlines to Indonesia and to Malaysia. Each time there was a stop in Singapore. The first time I had an eight hour lay-over between the hours of mid-night to seven in the morning! The second time I arrived in Singapore with a friend and she gave me a little tour of the city. The third time was another stop at the airport, this time only one hour. I had a very good impression of Singapore from my intermittent visits and hope one day to return and explore more fully, this international city.
