Welcome to my Singapore page,
My view of Singapore was limited, and if you really want to learn about this city/country look at the pages of:

Actually, I was fortunate to have some experience in Singapore purely by chance. I flew Singapore Airlines to Indonesia and to Malaysia. Each time there was a stop in Singapore. The first time I had an eight hour lay-over between the hours of mid-night to seven in the morning! The second time I arrived in Singapore with a friend and she gave me a little tour of the city. The third time was another stop at the airport, this time only one hour. I had a very good impression of Singapore from my intermittent visits and hope one day to return and explore more fully, this international city.

My visit to Singapore was a long time ago when we lived in Asia. It was so different, like a european city in asia. beautiful well organized and very efficient city.
My one visit to Singapore was for a few hours when my son and I were changing planes on our way to Vietnam. We didn’t have visas, but at the airport they offered a non-visa bus tour of the city. When we started a huge tropical storm came up and it rained so hard we couldn’t see a thing from the bus windows. They drove us up to the top of a hill and said there was a really great view from up there, usually.
Salmon Wellington sounds nice! I must make time to try out the dish... :)

Linda, I love free hotels. Hot and humid, all over the year? I hate it! Bad you had limited time, good you WAS there and see the outstanding Sultan Mosque and North Bridge Road
