In the summer of 1986, I stopped in Iceland for a few days en route to Luxembourg (courtesy of Icelandair) in order to meet <font color=red>Hafdis</font>, who was one of my many (60+!!) penpals when I was in high school.

The photos you see here were from the first time that we actually met in person... but it was not to be the last. In fact, to this day we are still in touch!
