My new favorite song...

Sono una grande fan di "C.S.I." -- Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti. I'm not sure whether or not this band is known outside of Italy, but they should be !

The lyrics of my new favorite song follow below, first in Italian... and then in my attempt at a translation. Comments and criticisms of the translation are welcome, and I would love to get to know more about this group.

Tonight is the celebration of miserable tribes, scattered and powerless
in isolated groups, who are rarely seen together nowadays

The old and withered priests die out, the shepherds fade away without their herds
Warriors are fear-stricken, travelers become lost at their destinations
Wisdom has gone mad,
Intelligence knows not,
Reason is in the wrong and ingenuity is conscious
But the songs are not silenced and onward goes the dance
