    • Jerusalem restaurant and ... I loved the Jordan food. A great variety of vegetarian dishes, a great variety of flavours and colours (if I don’t like the colour, I can’t eat the food). Try to eat in small restaurants, where the cooking has not been spoiled by tourist taste. My favourite dishes? Hummus, falafel, … and a delicious aubergine puree. In Madaba you can also try a good local interpretation of pizza. I forgot the name of the restaurant; it is located in front of St. George church, inside an old, nicely restored, courtyard. The place seemed to be appreciated also by local youth, on Saturday night.
