I spent most of my time in Lombok - its the next island east of Bali - I stayed one night in Bali on the way there and wondered from the airport on the way back. I really loved the temperature - it felt perfectly comfortable. Although some people don't like humidity . . .

Driving round the island on a motor bike was fantastic - a little dangerous but well worth it (if you don't kill yourself and live to tell the tale). We traveled right up to the top of the island - the locals though we were really strange but seemed to have accepted coca cola - there were signs up even here! You just can't escape it!
