  Shocked by news of British girl's attempted sexual assault in Agra hotel room. What is the PROBLEM in India ? No end to rape, assault, list goes on. How do women continue to travel in India ? British government has slapped a travel warning to women wanting to go to India now. when will this stop ?

  :) I guess we get mesmerized and enchanted by fair skinned foreigners, too overwhelmed to realise how strange it might look to be looked at. Harmless( unless you take things for granted) and over zealously helpful, we Indians are a spicy delite.- welcome to India

  Have a great trip to India! I travel there at least once a year for work (will be there again in March), have done quite a bit of vacation travel there also. In all I have been to India nearly 20x. I am usually traveling solo--no problems except for getting stared at!
