Bangkok Travel Guide: 11,762 reviews and 20,958 photos
When visiting the Grand Palace I was overwhelmed by the beauty of magnificient frescos and statues there. Most of them are referring to the Ramakien, the Siamese version of the Ramayana story from India, others were of Chinese imperial origin. Other details referred to later French and English influence.
All of them, in my eyes, were testifying the sincere curiosity, tolerance and spirituality of a people, capable of absorbing so many external elements and at the same time, as I learnt, maintain its uniqueness and independence after all.

PS: This page is clearly under construction. I will add more nice memories I had in my little time there, and I hope to have new ones soon.
