"Puerto Princesa Trip" Palawan by MayvelynG

It was actually my birthday when I and my hubby decided to visit the Puerto Princesa because of the good reviews coming from friends and relatives.

Together with the two kids we booked at Cebu Pacific and flew on November 26 of 2010. It exceeded my expectation because the two kids really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a hotel just near the airport and near the restos as well.

Nature Park

Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by our family name printed in a paper by a man. And after some minutes of staying in the van, we checked in our hotel just some walks away from the airport.

We were laughing coz we thought we could even just walk our way to the hotel but we're stil thankful for transferring us to hotel from airport. Day 1- was more of observing the city and exploring it as well. After treating ourselves in one of the restaurants just near the hotel, we visited the Mitra's house, the City itself, the awesome people at Iwahig- how they keep their living inside that place. We visited the Nature Park, crocodile farm and had some pics around.

Day 2- Island hopping (3 islands ) Swimming all day and had our lunch there as well. First island- more of small fishes and had them fed by the kids, 2nd island- more of bigger fishes-did some snorkeling as well, 3rd island- more of shells and coral reefs

Day 3- Underground River visit - After our early breakfast we headed to Underground River and had a nice tour inside the cave. Although, it was a bit creepy inside, the kids enjoyed the tour still and they would want to return here one day.

• In a nutshell:Definitely, Palawan is a place to visit, you will surely enjoy the food and the sweet smile of people around.
