As I worked for 6 weeks in Jordan, I felt in love with this middle east country.
The people there have a great sense for hospitality. And are among the friendliest I found so far...
Of course there are many interesting sites to see for the tourists. Names like Petra, Wadi Rum, the dead sea or Jerash speak for themselves! |
|  | Wadi Rum One of the must see things in Jordan is for sure the wadi Rum in the south of the country. It is a beautiful desert landscape wth stunning rock walls and colorful sand dunes.
You can go there either from Amman or from Aqaba by shared taxis. But most of the tourists visit the region by organised trips. |

| | Petra On of the most stunning sites within Jordan is Petra. Much of the "red rose city" is carved in the colorful rocky walls of the mountains.
Altough there is a quite expensive entrance fee, it is well worth the visit! |
