Oregon is one of themost beautiful states in the U.S. I travelled to Oregon many times when I was a kid, but never really took any good pictures. My family and I used to take family vacations to the Diamond Lake/Crater Lake area every year and loved it. It's such a beautiful place, so green, with lakes and waterfalls just about everywhere. I decided to go back there on my 30th birthday this October to see if it was just as I remembered... and it was. : ) Ispent 4 days up there, hiking the waterfalls, and biking the 11 mile ride around Diamond lake. It was great! Here are some pictures of some of the places I went.Since it was off season, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

|  | Diamond Lake Diamond Lake is located about 15 minutes from Crater Lake and is absolutely beautiful. There are many hikes and waterfalls in the area, and it's a great place if you just want to get away from the city for awhile. |
| | Crater Lake National Park Crater Lake,created by a collapsed volcano is one of the deepest lakes in the U.S. This pic was taken in the winter where is was just starting to snow. In the summer, the colors of the lake are very bright blue, and the views are stunning. It's a great place to visit. |
