Duluth is one of my favorite places to visit. It's the gateway to the north shore of Lake Superior, which makes it a great home base for adventures along the lake. The Canal Park area is the place to be. There are some interesting shops, places to eat, and great places to stay, all on the shore of Lake Superior.
