Cape May County Park is not exactly a well-known attraction. It has gained some well-deserved attention by visitors to the Jersey shore towns within its reach due to the ever-expanding zoo that was initially quite simple but has grown to be the finest in the state. But aside from the zoo, the park offers an idyllic getaway from the sometimes overly busy shore towns that everyone escapes to from their everyday city dwellings. Located just up Route 9 from small town Cape May Courthouse, this lush green oasis will entice you in if you drive past and once bitten, you’ll return time and again to bask in its relaxed easy feeling. Come and taste some of small town America, South Jersey style. Come and see a gem called Cape May County Park. |

Yaqui Fri Nov 13, 2009 20:57 UTC Cape May Court House looks wonderful. I think my family would love to explore that place. Parks are appreciated enough! Nice page! | toonsarah Tue Apr 8, 2008 16:51 UTC Thanks for another good idea for our summer visit :) | Pawtuxet Sun Feb 4, 2007 12:31 UTC Aren't zebras great? I'm fascinated w/ how mother nature can keep all those stripes straight. :-) Looks like a sweet park & natural habitat zoo. Very pleasant little escape. Life should have more of them. | Rhondaj Thu Jan 9, 2003 22:24 UTC I prefer this zoo over Philadelphia's. Fondest memory: lion 'stalking' my 2 year old daughter! Thank God for fences! |
