This wooden beam building has great old world atmosphere, helping to offset its expensive prices. It's worth a look and glass of wine at least.

Favorite Dish: Extensive if expensive wine list. Have not had the pleasure to eat or drink here yet as everytime I go, it's closed! :S

This cozy little place is right in the Albrechtsburg area, up on the hill, just across from the Cathedral. I would have thought it touristy but it was full of locals and had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Favorite Dish: I had a great beer goulash which came with a Meissener Schwerter Pils, from the local brewery. This lunch special was only 5 Euros. They have an extensive wine list but they also had all the Schwerter beers on tap, including a fantastic dunkles and a very different amber beer, leaning towards an Marzen. For desert, I had a "German Porter," a lovely deep dark strong ale.
