The jungles of Brazil, ruins of Peru, pampas of Argentina, and wind swept landscapes of Chile are what get the travelers’ imaginations going. These are the four glory countries of the continent and though well deserving of their attention, there are many other jewels waiting your discovery, one of them being Bolivia. This relatively compact country offers a great variety of landscapes, interesting if less famous remnants of the Inca Empire, and an incredibly friendly population only too ready to help you enjoy their often overlooked homeland. Add to this Bolivia’s low cost even by South American standards and you have a country not to be missed.
