Restaurant Name: Ambala
A really authentic Indonesian restaurant unlike most of the places in the city center. The woman didn't speak English but was most helpful and you can point at dishes if you're not adventurous. This place is cheap as you would expect of this type of food, again unlike the city center.
Favorite Dish: Nasi Goreng

Directions: I stumbled on it on the way to a brewery. Somewhere out on Pieter Vlaming near a cool ethnic market.

Of course, I should've checked out your tips first--might have made all the difference. |
