More upscale than Mama's though probably still fairly cheap, we befriended some people staying there and spent some nights drinking on their veranda. The view one night, after a storm.

Only have been in KL on a business trip, but got a slight glimpse of what you are telling in the intro - Malaysia must be one of the most charming countries of Asia - and this pearceful harmony among the different cultures is just awesome. |
