Province of New Brunswick Travel Guide: 943 reviews and 1,765 photos

The Province of New Brunswick is perhaps the least romanticized of the three that comprise the Maritimes. Possibly due to proximity, it is viewed as too accessible for those in Provinces just west and arguably a necessary evil to those wishing to travel by land to Maritime favorite, Nova Scotia. Lacking the spectacle of its sister's Cape Breton, it also has to share its most noted attraction of the Bay of Fundy with her. But with a rich native history that was later shaped considerably by French Acadian settlers before succumbing to ultimate British rule, this land of great natural resources had no problem competing prior to the advent or tourism. But make no mistake in thinking there is not much to see in this the biggest of the Maritime Provinces. With an immense coastline punctuated by the Bay of Fundy and its 50-foot tides and ample forest and lakes, it is a haven for a large spectrum of species and nature lovers alike. So, enjoy New Brunswick now while you can still have it pretty much to yourself.

Wow! A fantastic page. Sorry about the squitos; they were bad last year. Try again in June, you'll only have the black flies to worry about! Nice to see a visitor's impression of a place I've grown to love so much!

Beautiful photos Richie! Have always wanted to visit the Bay of Fundy, but maybe the Hopewell Rocks are more interesting?

A supurb page on New Brunswick and its many wonders! Your tales of the Hopewell Rocks and Kouchibouguac brought a chuckle out of me! Very well done!
