The Province of Ontario is forgotten in some ways. When people think of Canada, they tend to think of the Rockies and perhaps rightly so. It is a tremendous area with alpine scenery perhaps only eclipsed in Nepal. Montreal gives Quebec a viable big city to rival many in Europe for culture and cuisine. But Ontario has a gentle charm and sights all its own.

Well that's the first time I've heard Ontario described as having a gentle charm! Most people visit the congested 'golden horseshoe' from Toronto to Niagara - a very different picture!

Did you manage to visit Port Elgin, Southampton or Suble Beach while you were here? I moved to Bruce County 3 years ago for Bruce Power and I was very lonely at first but now realize that I've moved to a place where people go for holidays. I found 'home'.
