    • Favorite Thing: Like all the islands, Kauai is blessed with beautiful beaches but it is perhaps the lushest and least developed island as well. It's real highlight, however, is a fantastic trail network and with the great South Pacific weather can be a hikers paradise.

    Fondest Memory: Unfortunately for us, Iniki had most of the hikes off limits by the National Guard and though we attempted some anyway, it was pretty much useless, too much of the trails were unnavigatable mudslides. We did manage to get to the bottom of Wailua Falls though we had to use a rope which someone had fixed there to get down and back up.
