The Swiss are notorious for their meticulous attention to detail which runs the gamut from clean functional hotels to smoothly running punctual trains. They seem to utilize every square inch of their small country and do so without spoiling it. They even have made very considerable inroads to taming their very impossing mountain range, the Alps. Though you are never completely safe in the mountains, the Swiss have even a sense of order there. Beautiful farmland mingles with jagged peaks in a seamless fashion. Between mountain villages and cosmopolitan cities, Switzerland has a lot to offer.
