I’d like to be able to say I spent a week in Copenhagen, visiting all the tourist sights, but the truth of the matter is, it was merely a day trip from Sweden where we were visiting friends. And if that weren’t bad enough, the day started off with a brewery tour at Tuborg. It proceeded from there to being nothing but a pub crawl after meeting up with a young Dane we’d met in New Zealand on our glacier climb and later saw multiple times on the Aussie circuit. So, though I’m sure Denmark is an amazing country with ample sights, and it’s capital of Copenhagen seemed a great place to spend some time, our trip there was short and maybe more fun than sweet. |

skierk8 Sun Nov 14, 2004 16:45 UTC I have the same fish-eyed view of Copenhagen-too many beers from the Carlsborg Beer factory! I met a lad at the beer tables who was on his way to Russia. 3 weeks later we met again by chance on an plane in England heading to Baltimore! Weird, small world! | ginte Thu Jan 15, 2004 08:46 UTC Good page just for one day trip! I've found many interesting your travel pages. I'm going to explore them later:) | ratherton Thu Nov 13, 2003 23:28 UTC I really must get to a brewery trip there one day. I go to Copenhagen quite often but still haven't found the brewery. | Ken_Weaver Sat Feb 8, 2003 18:53 UTC Denmark is a fun place...don't see it as a cheap place to drink...paid $9.50 for a beer at the airport in '97! |
