Castle Weesenstein is a place fairy tales are made of. Its hilltop locale offers a majestic seating in the deeply forested Müglitz valley and 700 years of reconstructed history only add to the luster of what even the most jaded traveler finds awe-inspiring. This would be the case whether or not the scenically situated and architecturally pleasing castle had one of Saxony’s finest small breweries on the premises that I just happened to have had my wedding reception at or not. But those elements added are the things that fairy tales are made of anyway.

Many captured great shots but thanks especially to SandySmith & hubby Dave for the bulk of them. Oh, and Sabsi always manages to get something special too when it comes to images.
