The jumble of buildings is what I really like with the great architecture and landscape. You did a nice job of the viewpoint and pictures. Quick beers sounded like the way to go/exit
At our last German class for the year we ate some stollern which had been posted from Bamberg, so I was curious.
We're going to Bamberg tomorrow. Thinking of staying across from Fassla at Spezial Brewery. It's cheaper. Good location?

This looks like an amazing destination based on location and architecture alone, esp. the Ales Rathaus on the bridge! I like the sound of those smoky beers too. Great restaurant tips & tho I've heard of BYOB, never Bring Your Own Sausage!
