Hi all My name is Danny & my beautiful partners name is Yvonne. We live in the beautiful North East of England near Darlington where the worlds first railways were built. Neither of us Travelled when we were young as our parents did'nt have much money. I went to California with the British Army in 1989 at Fort Ord, Monterey for 10 weeks. While there I went climbing in Yosemite spent a day in San francisco & Carmel. For the record I love The USA. Some people(snobs) say Americans never leave their country & know nothing about the world outside their own. I disagree as my answer is why travel when you have everything you would need in your own country. You have the great cities like New York, the sunshine & heat of Arizona & the history of Philadelphia.
However I Truly believe that travel broadens not only the way we view life but that it makes you realise that everyone is the same.
I lived in Turkey for 1 year and lived & worked in Spain for nearly 2 years.
In Turkey I took people on tours of the ancient biblical cities Like Ephesus & Sardis, Miletos and Bodrum. I met Yvonne while working on the Island of Majorca fell in love and we have been together for nearly 5 years. We both love Ancient history & learning about it . We also love trying new things including the amazing varieties of food available in different cultures. We love to meet with new people & learning about the many cultures that make our planet so interesting & diverse.
