This trip was wonderful - expensive but wonderful!
We did it as part of a trip - the Polar bears were one of the highlights. I had always wanted to see the Northern Lights and we got to see them during the trip which was fantastic as well.
- Pros:the nature, the polar bears, the northern lights
- Cons:the cold and the distance and the price
- In a nutshell:it is unique.... we had to do it!

Wow this looks really interesting. We would love to see any sort of bears outside of a zoo.
It's fantastic isn't it? We loved it too!
Tonight one of the German TV stations (Phoenix) broadcast a documentary about Churchill, showing the same tour you were on -- and lots of bears, of course. Also a cabin the bears had broken into over night.
Unique page on Vt and very beautiful, relasing, amusing and white as well. Thanks for sharing.
Tell me, is such a trip expensive?
I would love to come up and see the bears.
What precious bears! I love them! Can't wait to try a helicopter ride myself! Thanks for the great page - I must see more of my home country!
I enjoyed your polar bear report. the pictures are great. I live fairly close yet have never gone, sniff...
Excellent page and wonderful adventure! Hope to visit Churchill and the bears someday.
