Regal Geyserland Hotel: great views
  • Tip Rating:
  • This hotel is on the road into Rotorua so it is easy to find, and is clean, with very friendly people, good rooms with a balcony. The picture i include is the view from our room.
Unfortunately because the hotels were included in the tour price for us I cannot tell you the exact price per night.

Unique Qualities: This hotel overlooks the world famous Whakarewarewa thermal wonderland and the wonderful Pohutu Geyser.

Cedar house: home comforts and good company
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is a really unique B&B where Carole and Derek make you really welcome. The house is beautiful, with a long history.

Unique Qualities: You are welcomed with pre-dinner drinks and snacks and good conversation, the rooms are lovely and when you come back to your room after dinner in the town your bed is turned down and there are nightly treats on the bedside table. Breakfast is marvellous - try the Eggs benedictine! The only problem is that you might just get used to this luxury!
