Getting TO/AROUND: We went with our little Smart car, and then packed it in the hotel parking lot all the time we were in Vienna. Parking in the city is difficult and expensive.

Getting TO/AROUND: We bought a 24 hour Vienna pass which gave us unlimited travel on the U-Bahn and trams. We walked.... and walked.....and walked. So take good strong walking shoes. I really think that walking is the very best way to see a city so we really only used the pass to get us across longer distances but that saved us a lot of money and time.
