We did not actually stay in Dundee on this trip but VT has not got a page for St. Monan's, and Dundee is the nearest place to it. St Monan's is a tiny little fishing village in Fife on the Firth of Forth just a little north of Edinburgh. The cottage we hired was right on the harbour and was an old converted fishermans home - it was wonderful. The owners had put the living room on the third floor which meant that you could sit and look over the sea and the views were wonderful. My mother was born not far from St Monan's and I know the area quite well. |
