I have always had a soft spot for these lovely animals with their big brown sad eyes, and on the the way into Kaikoura we passed the colony and spent ages watching them. travelling from the north into kaikoura you cannot miss the seals as the road follows the sea all the way down. |
| | The whale watching we did in Kaikoura was absolutely the best we have done anuwhere in the world. We were lucky both with the crew we had taking us out and because we saw five Sperm Whale and several Dusky Dolphin that morning. The sea was rough but a goos seasickness tablet and the excitement of seeing these wonderful creatures soon helps any queasy feelings. |
