A long planned dream comes true For many years Koos and I talked about making a "Grand Tour" of Europe like the sons of high class families did in the 18th century. Well after our planned trip to Argentina fell through (because the travel agent went bankrupt) we decided to do just that.

|  | We had a list of places we wanted to see and off we went in our little Smart car. In one word FANTASTIC! In fact the trip was such a success that we did another trip through Europe in 2003.
For me seeing this statue was a real highlight of the first trip.
