Split

Split is the nearest large town of Hvar, this is also the place where there are ferries across to Hvar!

We were here 3 times during our holiday in Croatia in the summer of 2012, the first time we were here just 20 minutes before our ferry went on over to Hvar!

Since we were three girls on the trip, we needed a day in the big city could have opportunities to go shopping! We took the ferry to Split, and from there we took a taxi to a shopping center named Joker, a fine shopping center, but it was not so many various types shops there or where they served food, it was in most of the coffee!
