My discovery of Perpignan with my parents in law who are living in Carcassonne. We took the highway and before Perpignan, took the small roads. We passed therefore to Salses (and visited the "Chateau de Salses"), Rivesaltes (renowned for its Muscat), Thuir (and we visited "les Caves de Byrrh"), Toulouges (for its chocolaterie), Le Perthus (at the frontier with Spain), Collioure, Port Vendres, Banyuls sur Mer and back to Carcassonne. You will find a map of Perpignan and its surroundings. |
