Here is the beach. The waves at this beach are none existent. There are several stretches of beach at Pagudpud so let me mention where I stayed in order to give an indication of the location. We stayed at the Britanya Lodge. This resort is a 3 minute walk to the beach. The water was beautiful for snorkeling. There was one location far off to the east that had some large waves, 3 to 4 feet at times, but this was do to storms and was restricted to one particular area

Let me say that the Philippines are going through a major transition in their infrastructure as they are building roads and water conduits for heavy rain falls. I'm told the railroad system is being expanded so one day it will cover the whole mainland. It is hot inland and at sea elevations. Mountains and ocean areas are much cooler. The shopping mauls are no different than the ones we have here in the states in their overall structure and appearance. They had a food market in the Marikina Maul where I found some decent beef.

They need some good advice on their environment and how to protect it. It would be good economical advice as well of course.
