Trekking amongst great peaks...

by TracyG - last update: May 8, 2006

The Annapurnas are some of the most spectacular range of mountains in the Himalayas if not the world! The most awe inspiring image is waking up to Machapuchare - one of the most sacred mountains for the Nepalese, it is an incredible sight that I won't forget...

How these mountains could be higher than my Swiss Alps ? Excellent pictures with impressive peaks and the local atmoshere. Wish to go there physically or come back virtually on your pages. Keep going your VT hiking ;-)

Great pictures. I was in the Annapurna region in 1993 and loved it - can't wait to go back. It seems it's still as beautiful as it ever was. fergy.
