| Children at the childrens library - Thulo Bharkhu |
| | The teaching... I spent a wonderful few months living and teaching at the local government school and childrens library in Thulo Bharkhu (near Dhunche). I lived with an amazing family that gave me an insight into the Buddhist religion and Tamang culture. I also met the man that I want to 'one day' marry. Not bad for a short career break... |
The trekking... I spent 10 days doing the Langtang and Goisankunda trek with a fellow volunteer and my now wonderful partner. It was a beautiful mix of stunning mountain scenery and an insight into the local peoples lives and I would highly recommend it to anyone... | | | The view towards Kyanjin Gompa |
