I lived in Miami for 16 years. I had a love/hate relationship with Miami,as most people who live there do. First, the traffic,is a living HELL! Top that off with people who have no idea where they are going,Tourist,and people who just moved to this country-and decided to learn how to drive immediately! It's PURE HELL! Once you get past that-LOVE IT! It reminds me of how much I miss living in New York! I could eat out every night for a year,and there would still some places I've yet to try! I lived in Kendall,South Miami,and Doral areas. Yeah,I know South Beach is " happening" but you can't really raise kids there. There are so many restaurants to recommend, it's crazy! But it all depends what part of Miami you'll be in. Ask a local,they are your best source.
