British Columbia Parliament building in Victoria
Victoria is at the southern tip of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It's a popular tourist destination. You can expect rain during October thru May. Summers are drier. They rent bicycles and you can take carriages, taxis, or double decker buses if you don't ferry your own car over to the island. Helmets are required by law if you ride bikes. Victoria has an airport. The people were very friendly and helpful. Everything was green and the colorful flowers were blooming everywhere. Be sure to see the Buchart Gardens if you have time.

Sydney Harbour looks somehow different. Oh! Sidney!

I'd like to go here one day. Nice pics in the travelogue, and good tips.
Great page on Victoria. I had the Indian buffet at the Empress, and had a great time that night. I missed seeing Chinatown though :-( Hahaha, great picture of that phone booth!
Rodney.. why did you need a room with two king size beds for?? You could have put them together and play football on that!!
You did a great job of capturing Victoria! The entertainment along the harbour-front by the hotel is also very enjoying.
Beautiful photography! Go on... Et merci ! ;-)))
