Where's home, who am I?

It can be confusing to answer the question, "where's home?"
We currently live in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. Before that we lived in Jakarta, Indonesia & we loved it so much we would return in a heartbeat despite the terrible air pollution, traffic & trash/rubbish. Jakarta is also considered home to our 2 primary school-aged kids as they have very few memories of their real home in the USA. My husband is American & the US is definitely "home" for him, but I come from a mixed culture family, born & brought up in the UK, but my father was Italian. I spent 16 years of my young adult life in Italy & if asked where home is, or where I feel happiest, it would have to be Italy.

I speak 3 languages fluently, understand 5 pretty well & can get by in at least 1 more & I'm really good at speaking with gestures...I think that qualifies me as an expat. Our home has been called a gallery/museum...our IKEA starter furniture & family hand-me-downs are all but gone since leaving the USA 5 years ago on our family adventure following my husband's work to Asia.

Who am I? I am me...a mother, a wife & best friend & artist. I'm a traveler, cook, teacher & lover of life, & I'm loving every minute!
