Vacationing in Puerto Morelos

This was our third visit to PM. We previously stayed in a beautiful resort and an all inclusive. This year we rented a home. I had reservations about leaving the comforts of a resort but decided to give it a try since we wanted to be closer to Puerto Morelos. Now I don't think I can ever go back to staying in a resort! We found that the people of PM were so welcoming! We ate out every night and every meal was reasonable and delicious! There are so many negative things I hear about traveling in Mexico but did not have any safety concerns what so ever! We enjoyed staying there so much that I didn't do anything on my long list of places I wanted to explore! The one thing we did do (which is a must) is go to the Jungle Mayan Spa for massages. It was like no other!

  • Pros:Safety, Friendliness, Charm
  • Cons:Access to large grocery stores
  • In a nutshell:Beautiful little town!
