I was only in Malaga for a few short hours. I only planned to stay there long enough to catch a bus. Little did I know what was about to happen in Malaga!

I had taken a bus from Colin to Malaga in route to Granada. While waiting in the bus station cafe, I was robbed!!! I didnt even realize that I had been robbed!!! My bag was taken right from under my nose...literally!!! One minute I was retrieving something from the bag and the very next minute, it was gone!!! I couldnt believe it!! It was kind of scary to think that something so close to my person could be taken with out my knowing it!

In the bag was my passport, return air line ticket and train and bus tickets....along with some personal items, such as my travel journal and address books. Luckly, my credit cards were in a separate bag.

Immediately I went to the information booth in the bus station. They were not much help. So, I found the nearest internet place and got on to VT!!! Everyone on VT were so kind and helpful!!! Carmela was a "bitter" sweet angel!!!! She gave me an international number for the police with english speaking officers....so I could phone in the report rather than run around an unfamiliar city trying to locate a police office.

In the end everything worked out. My trip to andalucia was shortened and completely rearranged. I didnt get to see Granada or cordoba or a few other places, but I had a blast in Marbella with friends!!! In the end, all its really about is if u had fun!!! And I sure did!!!
