Saint Thomas | Beautiful view of the bay |
On this Royal Caribbean cruise, we only visited St. Thomas. These islands were made known to Europe through the discoveries of Christopher Columbus. The island passed into Danish hands, in fact, the capital, Charlotte Amalie, is named after a Danish queen. The Virgin Islands were bought by the U. S. in the early Twentieth Century. This place is indeed beautiful. We visited Magens Bay Beach and Coral World while we were there. |
