Cedar Breaks lies two miles south of Brian Head, A 5 mile drive takes you through the park with a Visitor Centre plus six different viewing points. Cedar Breaks is some 10,000 feet above sea level so it's usually pretty cold up here. In winter the roads are blocked by snow, and are mostly closed from mid October through May, so if you are planning a visit during those months, I shouldn't bother! Please check out travelogue. |

goingsolo Fri Sep 17, 2004 21:58 UTC Great pictures! I was hoping to visit this place in late November but the road will probably be closed. Oh well. Thanks for the armchair tour. :) |
