I paid my 11th visit to this fabulous city in November 2002, following on from my visit in 2001 and Christmas 2000, staying at the Flamingo Hilton. It is a great place to visit, always something to do and the selection of restaurants and buffets available is incredible. I love playing the Blazing Sevens dollar and five dollar slots at the Flamingo. If you go downtown you must visit the Golden Nugget, in my opinion the only decent casino downtown. The buffet there is extremely good value. The picture above shows the Mirage Hotel and Casino (taken from my room). My first Travelogue (April 2001) takes you on a tour of the Las Vegas Strip showing photos of most of the larger Casinos, taken during my last five visits. I have also just completed five more travelogues, one showing the Downtown casinos by day and night, another showing the Fountain show, by day and night, at Bellagio, the fourth showing the spectacular Fremont Street Experience, the fifth is of the Pirate battle at Treasure Island, and the final one takes you inside The Venetian, showing the gondolas on the canal.
