I am "Under new Construction" and it seems I have been for too long, so I will begin with a few updates.

Having lived in the suburb of Chatswood for more than 20 years, my husband and I have sold our house and will soon move to a home closer to the northern beaches of Sydney.

Our daughter has moved to California with her husband and family, Sacramento, Granite Bay, we are really looking forward to visiting them in December.

It will be our second Christmas in the northern hemisphere. I love Christmas in the snow, so much better than our hot Christmas's down here.

It has been 3 years since our last overseas trip and we are keen to get on the move again.

Family commitments kept us from travelling, very sad that both my mother and my husband, Michael's father died in the same week.

One of Sydney's famous icons is the Sydney Harbour Bridge completed in 1932, which took 10 years to build and links the city with the northern suburbs.

It took almost 70 years before the Sydney Harbour Bridge was opened to the public to climb on 1 October, 1998.

It is a 2 hour climb to the top of the Harbour Bridge.

Wouldn't it be nice....world peace.

Celebrating Sydney New Years Eve

You will find this building in the centre of Sydney.

This is one of my favourite beaches, about 15 minutes from where I live, North Narrabeen Beach.
