"Frenchman's Cove Experience" Port Antonio by traciontheriver

I went to Frenchman's Cove Resort in Port Antonio, Jamaica in June 2011.
It was a week of bliss. We stayed in Kingston the first night and were immediately in love with the island.
But once we got to Frenchman's Cove Resort, I was totally transported to another place. The flora and vegetation, the streaming river babbling through the property, the most amazing spirit, who is also the General Manager, Frank Lawrence and the amazing staff took you to a mental peace and calmness AND exhilaration that I have never felt. Pictures are the only thing I have to explain my journey, so they are attached. Frenchman's Cove Resort is a bucket list journey for anyone, and accessible to anyone as well, with modest prices and full one bedroom villas that once housed Royalty, for $150 a day. Amazing........see my pictures for pictures of this 45-acre property that you will fall in love with and the 17 villas are super secluded and wrap around the cliffs that surround the most pristine, private beach I have every seen.

• Cons:roads are terrible but worth it!
• In a nutshell:LOVE IT! FRENCHMAN'S COVE RESORT IS HEAVEN ON EARTH
