This is one of my favorite shots of Morocco. I had been aimlessly filming with a videorecorder in Fez, and took still photos from the film with my trusty Snappy. When I saw this shot, I really like the dreary background coupled with the vibrant blue of the woman's jalabi and the yellow of the fresh fruit. It wasn't a carefully composed shot, but for me it yielded the flavor of life in the old souks. |
