Nantucket is one of those places that is nice just to circumambulate, and discover its history as a seafaring port. After a while, you get to know all of the old family names, the Coffees et. al., as though they were long-lost cousins. OK, I've already been remonstrated for my slack treatment of this fine island! Truth be told, this cemetery shot is one of my personal favorites, but I do have one or two other photos to share if I root around a bit, so check back later. |

ACKresident Tue Oct 9, 2007 15:59 UTC Actually, it is not the oldest house, tho at one time it was thought to be. The oldest documented house is Auld Lang Syne in the village of 'Sconset | JudyinPA Tue Sep 25, 2001 04:25 UTC Your page brought back some good memories of vacations | Petra1 Sat Jul 7, 2001 17:52 UTC Beautiful page! | brdwtchr Wed Mar 21, 2001 06:24 UTC I liked the pictures and comments. |
